BY AIR: Bahrain International Airport (IATA: BAH); located in Muharraq in the Eastern province of Manama, is Gulf Air’s main base with excellent connections to and from the Middle East, the Indian sub-continent and North & East Africa.

BY LAND: Tourists are not permitted to drive between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in a hired car. A transit visa must be obtained from the Saudi authorities for those travelling by car between the UAE and Bahrain.
